Call for entry: Our Oceans

Congratulations to the winning photographers of the “Our Oceans” contest!

Summer is here and the sun is finally out. Go enjoy the beautiful beach weather while it lasts and don't forget your camera. Submit any ocean or coast related photos for a chance to win. Once the submissions are tallied, we'll donate proceeds to the organization, "Clean Ocean Action." With your help this contest will be able to assist in protecting the oceans that we love to visit and capture.

The contest voting period will close and winners will be announced on Sept. 9th, 2012.

Clean Ocean Action is a leading national and regional voice working to protect waterways using science, law, research, education, and citizen action.

Clean Ocean Action will identify the sources of pollution and mount an attack on each source by using research, public education, and citizen action to convince our public officials to enact and enforce measures which will clean up and protect our ocean.

Rules:
The contest voting period will close and winners will be announced on Sept. 9th, 2012.
  • Multiple submissions allowed.
  • No significant altering of photos (i.e. HDR, Selective Color, etc.) minor digital enhancements are allowed.
  • Submissions must be as a JPEG, PNG, GIF, or BMP. Max allowed filesize is 2MB.
  • Must be 18 or older to submit.
  • Photographers will retain original copyrights to their photos.
  • By entering, you agree to the terms & conditions set forth.
  • Photo submissions cannot be previously used for commercial or promotional purposes.
  • Entries should somehow reflect the theme "Oceans."
  • The voting round will begin when the date or submission cap has been reached.
